In our book “The Devious Book for Cats” we have a chapter entitled “The Secrets of Daredevil Cats” where we talk about how it is cats can survive long falls.
We’ve been known to fall twenty stories and walk away, you know.
Some of it deals with complex physics principles and some of it is anatomy, we’ll give you a couple reasons here:

There’s a fair amount of us who are called fatcats, wide-loads and the like by humans.
Not nice.
But there’s one cat we know named BB that has rock-hard abs. We don’t know how he does it but that cat has a six-pack! We’ve never seen him do cat crunches or any kind of cat-adominizer bought from late night television so that’s not it.
We did see him near a copy of Men’s Health the other day so maybe that’s it. We won’t be reading Men’s Health.

Well, one thing’s for sure - if they’re in there Albert wouldn’t know, he’s too busy soaking up the sun in the window right above them.

We’d thought it would be fun to look in on our old friends Albert, Freddie and BB King today and see what happens during a typical day for them.
So, this guy is lying on the floor….
BB, as usual, doesn’t much seem to care. He sits at his post with his typical regal flair.
And Albert’s doing his usual, too-cool-for-school thing. That leaves…
FFFreddie! He’ll take care of that little dude.
So that’s it, a day in the life of the Three Kings, tune in tomorrow for when we open the pantry door!
We aren’t usually bad on purpose. Take this for instance:
How were we supposed to know this chair wouldn’t even hold up to the normal rigors of sharpening one’s claws? It wasn’t that we were TRYING to destroy the chair but the four “scratching” posts we are supposed to use are boring and just don’t provide the same thrill.
Guess we’ll have to find a new chair soon, this one’s just about had it.

It’s Monday, time to find out where the monsters are, today we get a little 
help from our friends Albert and Freddie, so here goes…
Are they in the hanging plant outside the window?
Are they under the frypan?

There’s a good chance they’re back there somewhere!
Oh man! Here’s where they are for sure! Run!

When our humans leave for the day they leave the radio on for us. It’s done as a gesture of kindness but really its more like torture.
There isn’t much we really like: classical music is ok but to get to it we have to listen to the droopy voices on NPR for half the morning.
This weekend promises to be a real endless tribute yawner, too.

No doubt about it, man is it hot. Yesterday we looked out the window and could see the trash man sweating as he picked up the garbage and the mailman was dripping as he delivered the mail and the guy who we watched change a flat tire out on the road, he was just soaked!
Lucky we had the air on but even with that we had to take a break every so often and go lie on the cool kitchen tile for awhile.
Ever,
Humans often have a hard time identifying when we’re busy. They just want to do their thing and have no regard for how that might impact us. Take our friend Albert here, for instance:
He was busy taking a nap on a lap then all of a sudden he’s rudely interrupted by the person leaning forward to type. How rude!
It’s a miracle anything ever gets done, with these humans in the way and bothering us all the time.
